2016 Nominations Are Closed


The Tallahassee Community College Women’s History Month committee is requesting nominations of exceptional female students of Tallahassee Committee College. The 2016 theme is "Working to Form a More Perfect Union: Honoring Women in Public Service and Government." Nominees should have achieved significant success in areas related to this year’s theme, women’s issues, transforming culture or society, history or politics, or as student leaders, writers, scientists, or others.  A committee will screen the nominations. 

To nominate a student, please complete the WHM StudentNomination 2016.pdfWHM StudentNomination 2016.pdf  form, and submit it to Jarrett Phipps at or Melissa Scalzi at The deadline for nominations is Friday, January 8, 2016.

The honoree ceremony will be held on March 30, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at TCC's Ghazvini Center for Healthcare Education. The address is 1528 Surgeons Drive Tallahassee, FL 32308.​
