Philosophy Club

The purpose of the Philosophy Club at Tallahassee Community College is to provide a venue outside the classroom for students to discuss philosophic issues, as well as, how to better understand and articulate arguments.  Practicing skills such as argument analysis, public speaking, debate, and rhetoric, students will work to sharpen their minds and the ability to use reason in order to think more critically on any topic, in a given situation. Through the process of developing these skills, students will explore many topics under the umbrella of Philosophy. For more information about the Philosophy Club, please contact Kermit Harrison.
