Traffic Homicide Investigation Refresher (40 Hrs.)

This course is designed for investigators that have not received training over a three to five year period. This course will cover topics form all the THI series courses. It is the intent of this course to provide current information to investigators that are not current with training. The student will also reconstruct scale crash projects.

​To attend this training, the participant must be a Florida law enforcement officer who's duties include the investigation of traffic crashes or support of crash investigators. Participants must have taken and passed Basic Traffic Homicide and Advanced Traffic Homicide and Traffic Crash Reconstruction, or the equivalent of this series of courses, and has not had any crash investigation training in the last three years.

 What Should I Bring?

​You should bring the materials received during past training. Calculator, templates, protractor, and the like.

 What are the Expenses?

​Tuition for this training is provided through a grant, so there is no cost to students or their agency. Housing and meals are provided onsite at no cost when the training is offered onsite at the Florida Public Safety Institute and the student will be traveling from out of town.
