High Liability Trainers Conference & MSHA Law School
Our 7th Annual High Liability Trainers Conference is an event that brings all Safety Professionals, First Responders, Law Enforcement Organizations, Communications and Information Systems Personnel together to improve the justice system, in addition to Mine Safety and Health, throughout the United States while fostering working relationships and promoting the education of its memberships and grants. FPSI is host to the High Liability Trainers Conference that attracts nearly 400 instructors from throughout the Southeastern United States. Our priority, indeed the reason for our existence as an organization, is to help with the education and safety of our members and community. The High Liability Trainers Conference will host a myriad of events that will range from classroom instruction, accident investigations, mock trials, demonstrations and armorers’ courses to live fire classes on modern firearms training and the latest in firearms technology. This Year's Spotlight is on following: One-on-One Control Tactics, Glock Armorer, Advanced Tactics in Firearms, Vehicle Assaults and Vehicle Rescues, Body Language and Deception, Ballistic Shield Live Fire, Pistol and Rifle Skill Builder hosted by Sig Sauer Academy. There will also be training in leadership development, training scenario development, and advanced presentation skills, as well as guest speakers and vendors from all over the United States. The courses will be taught by nationally recognized safety experts in their fields. Please refer to Conference Link and Attachments on what to expect during the Conference which now includes all Public Safety and the Florida MSHA State Grants Program. In addition to the training, a vendor display and demonstration will host a variety of mining resources and materials, public safety and law enforcement equipment from recognized manufacturers. Please note that William Gerringer, Bureau Chief, CMSP, NCDOL/Mine Quarry Bureau; Adele Abrams, Esq., CMSP and Nicholas Scala, Esq., CMSP with the Law Office of Adele L. Abrams PC, and Peggy Merritt, Field Trainer/Analyst with the Texas Mine Safety & Health Training Program will be conducting two separate Mine Safety and Health Law Schools during the week of Conference. Mine Safety and Health Professionals in attendance are also welcome at any of the High Liability Conference activities, which provides your team with a unique opportunity to interact one-on-one with the membership at large in a casual setting separate from the vendor exhibition tables and classroom set-ups. Meals included are Vendor Night (Monday), BBQ Night (Tuesday) and Banquet Night (Thursday). Registration begins July 1, 2015 via www.regonline.com/2015HLTraining.
