Psychology and Behavioral Sciences

_Thurla.jpgAll of the Psychology courses strive to teach students basic theory and research findings in the discipline, and to help them connect psychological concepts to real life personal, interpersonal and social problems. The courses range from an introductory class to studies of personal and developmental aspects of human behavior.

The four Anthropology courses offered at TCC aim to enlighten students about the roots and diversity of human civilization. These classes trace the earliest roots of human existence and focus on primitive and non-industrialized societies.

TCC offers nine sociology courses to introduce students to the concepts of sociological theory and the major areas of sociological study. These courses focus on global issues, race and minority group relations, social problems, death and dying, and marriage and family dynamics.
