San Sin Sister School Program

In 1995 TCC developed a formal relationship with San Sin High School-a "Sister School" relationship- located in Taiwan.  Our continued relationship with our Taiwanese friends has provided many mutual educational, cultural, and social benefits for both institutions.  Groups of students and teachers from San Sin High School have visited the TCC campus on several occasions.  A special scholarship exists for these students, providing financial assistance to one San Sin student each year.

The Summer English Program presents a unique and special international teaching opportunity for our TCC faculty and students.  Each year, those who are selected to participate in the Summer Program go through several orientation meetings.  All travel is arranged as a group; the American teachers and students travel to Taiwan and return to Florida together.

We also have an ongoing Distance Learning project.  We utilize live teleconferencing to allow student and teacher communication and to assist San Sin students with improving their english skills.
