Criminal Justice Basic Abilities Test (CJBAT)
The Criminal Justice Basic Abilities Test (CJBAT) is administered to those who wish to become certified Correctional and Law Enforcement Officers in the State of Florida. The purpose of the exam is to determine whether candidates possess the required abilities to master the curricula and understand the materials presented in training. CJBAT is an accurate assessment of the abilities identified by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement as important for success in training and on the job.

To schedule an appointment to take the CJBAT, please contact the Testing Center's Workforce Testing Office at (850) 201-8282. A TCC photo ID or valid government-issued ID (driver's license or state identification card) is required for all testing – No Exceptions.
