Career Pathways

What is the Career Pathways Program?  

The Career Pathways Program offers strategies for overcoming workforce barriers by bringing together selected industries, community services, government agencies, and community colleges to identify, enroll, educate, and prepare these adults for high-demand career opportunities.

Who can use Career Pathways?

The Career Pathways Program is open to adults enrolled in Adult Basic Education (ABE), English as a Second Language (ESL), Adult High School, and/or General Education Development (GED) instruction.


 Career Cluster

​The Florida Department of Education's Career Clusters are organized into 17 broad categories that encompass virtually all occupations from entry through professional levels. Career Clusters identify the knowledge and skills needed to follow a pathway toward career goals and provide a context for exploring the many occupational options available.
