Pathways to Success
Scholarship Fund

Educate one, Change many
Our Tallahassee Community College Adult Education community, like America, is very diverse.   We serve returning adult students, international students, high school drop outs, economically disadvantaged, prior home-schooled, and many others.  Experience has taught us that when students fail to complete their education, life’s opportunities shrink dramatically. However when education becomes a priority, opportunities are endless.  Tallahassee Community College Adult Education program is here to deliver opportunities through education for members of our community.

Adult Education Works!

TCC Adult Education delivers GED preparation and testing, English language instruction, career counseling, and TCC student benefits to facilitate transition into postsecondary, vocational and industry-recognized certificate programs, and the workforce.  It inspires students toward attainable life goals, helps them to prosper economically, and subsequently be able to productively contribute to their family and community.   See the graph  showing  the  median annual earnings of US workers 25 years and older by educational attainment 2006-08,,educational-attainment.

The Pathways to Success Scholarship Fund

The “Pathways to Success Scholarship Fund” assists students with class tuition, placement and GED test fees, and fees for vocational and industry-recognized certificate training.  Student Tuition is $30 per semester and the fee to take the GED test is $70. Vocational training and industry-recognized certificate program fees vary.  Most students need at least three semesters to complete their academic goals and career training.

With your support and financial contribution, you can put a student on their pathway to success. Educate one, Change many.
