Frequently Asked Questions

How does TCC's Workforce Development determine an employer’s training needs?

We develop customized training programs by evaluating, interviewing and surveying management and employees.  Our process allows employees to feel comfortable in responding openly and honestly in order for us to develop the most accurate and actionable plan possible.

Where does TCC's Workforce Development conduct training?

We provide training throughout the region - anywhere, anytime. Training can be scheduled at TCC’s main campus or at any of our services centers, including the Quincy House, the TCC Wakulla Center or the Capitol Center. Training can also be conducted on-site at your business or organization.

Does TCC's Workforce Development have instructors and experts in our specialty industry?

Yes. The Center for Workforce Development works with a core of instructors and subject matter experts who have a wide variety of business experience. The Center uses industry leaders and speakers to present the coursework based on real-world experience.

What is the cost for training?

Customized training is individually and uniquely priced.  A specialist will visit your place of business and conduct a training needs analysis. A proposal is then prepared that outlines training recommendations and costs.  The cost is all inclusive to meet your training needs.
