Construction & Trades
TCC offers a wide array of entry-level construction and skilled trades classes, including Welding
, Masonry Apprenticeship
, and Safety courses
. The classes are a perfect fit for those wanting to enter the construction industry, as well those who wish to improve their job skills. TCC uses the National Center for Construction Education and Research
(NCCER) curriculum as the foundation of our entry-level construction programs in order to award industry recognized training. Additionally, TCC is an authorized provider of the OSHA Safety courses
, available in either a traditional face-to-face classroom format or online version.
Why Credentials Matter
Skills Training Guarantee
If a TCC graduate, whose training was paid for by their employer, is deficient in one or more competencies as defined on the Certificate of Completion, he or she may be retrained at no cost to the employee or employer, except the necessary textbooks.
This guarantee only applies to graduates of TCC’s Division of Workforce Development Construction/Trades (excluding Registered Apprenticeship programs) and Green occupational skills training programs, who are employed in the field of their training.
The employee will be enrolled in the next available course or program dependent upon the course or program “making.” This guarantee is in effect for a period of one calendar year from the completion of the course or program of study.
TCC-issued certifications are stand-alone certifications and are not industry-recognized certifications. Industry-recognized certifications are only issued by the endorsing entity.
Students have until 48 hours prior to the start of a class to register and pay for that class. Once the 48 hour deadline has passed, students will not be able to register for the class and all unpaid students will be automatically dropped from the class.
