Applying To TCC

If you are an incoming International Student, follow the steps below for admission and refer to the Application Checklist.pdfApplication Checklist.pdf

In order to be admitted to TCC and be issued an I-20, future students must complete the following steps.

Submit an Official Evaluation of your Foreign Credentials


All international transcripts must be evaluated by an accredited evaluation service that is NACES or AACRAO certified such as J. Silny & Associates or World Education Services.

If you would like International Services to facilitate the evaluation process through J. Silny and Associates, download the J.Silny application​, complete it and send it via secured mail to the International Services Office, including your original or official copies of your high school transcripts and diploma. If you took final examinatios results such as CXC and CBGSE, please make sure to include your official results.  

You will need to request a course-by-course evaluation of your credentials.

C​omplete English Proficiency Testing

 Incoming International Students must submit official TOEFL report or IELTS report. If your native language is not English, a TOEFL score must be submitted with a required minimum score of  133 (computer-based), 450 (paper-based), or 45 (Internet-Based), or an IELTS score with required minimum of 4.5.

​Submit a Financial Statement

Submit a bank statement (CFR: also known as Certificate of Financial Responsibility) including a certification letter written in English from a bank on letterhead and stamped by bank officials with financial data recorded in U.S. dollars for the amount of $23,850. This statement should be recent and not older than six months.

You will also need to complete the Certificate of Financial Responsibility Form
and mail or email it to the International Services Office.

​Next Steps

Attend a mandatory orientation for all new International Students. You will be notified by mail or email of the orientation date.

After completing all of the steps above, we would like to welcome you to the TCC family. We are confident that you will have a superb and successful college experience at TCC. The following links will help you get started for your first day of class.
