Career Exploration and Planning
What is Career Exploration and Planning?
It is the process of finding a rewarding career path, as well as specific jobs within a particular career
path. Think of career exploration and planning as building bridges from college to your career.
What is Career Counseling?
It is a dynamic, interactive process that helps students understand how their interest, skills, values and personality might predict success in the academic and career fields they are considering and how to form their career goals accordingly.
Research shows that students who participate in career exploration and planning or who have had career advising, graduate from college at a higher rate.
