Active Shooter

An Active Shooter is an individual(s) engaged in killing or attempting to kill people often at random in a confined area. Be prepared and know How to Respond!

 

 What can you do to be prepared?

 
  1. ​Please take the time to view the videos and print or review the attached materials.
  2. Know your environment and any possible dangers.
  3. Always know your surroundings and the nearest exits.
  4. Whenever you see something suspicious, immediately contact the TCC Police at (850) 201-6100.
 

 How do you Respond?

 
  1. Evacuate - always have an escape route in mind, leave belongings, keep hands visible.
  2. Hide Out - lock yourself in the room, silence your cellular phone.
  3. Take Action - as a last resort.
