Weather-Related Emergencies

During the course of the year, the city of Tallahassee can expect to be affected by a wide variety of weather events. While the Florida Panhandle is best-known for being at risk to hurricanes and tropical storms, it also experiences its share of thunderstormstornadoesfloodingwildfires and on the rare occasion, snow.

TCC is committed to the safety of its students, faculty, staff and visitors, and, when conditions warrant, will be in constant communication with the appropriate state and local agencies. Through TCC and the College's Alerts Web site, TCC will communicate important emergency information during weather-related emergencies.

The following pages are designed to educate users about the various weather-related events that can affect Tallahassee, how TCC responds to each, and steps to take to be prepared.
