Mandatory Graduation Orientation
The Commencement Ceremony is a distinguished tradition at TCC. Decorum and courtesy are very important. Therefore, all students are required to attend a mandatory graduation orientation. In the orientation session you will:
Be guided through the ceremony protocol
Learn what you can expect and what is expected of you as a participant (ceremony etiquette)
Receive information on appropriate attire for the ceremony
Have an opportunity to ask questions
Detailed information about the mandatory graduation orientation dates and times will be sent to graduating students in February. Please remember to check your TCC email.
Caps and Gowns
Graduates are required to wear full academic regalia (i.e. cap, gown, and tassel). Graduation regalia is available for purchase beginning in March at the TCC Bookstore. Information about ordering graduation regalia will be sent to graduating students in February. Please remember to check your TCC email.
All graduating students receive one official diploma at no additional cost. Students participating in the graduation ceremony receive a padded diploma cover with a message from the College. Diplomas will be mailed to students approximately eight to ten weeks after the degree is awarded and reflected on the student's transcript.
