To recognize the dedication and contributions of Marjorie R. Turnbull , Retired Executive Director of the TCC Foundation, the TCC Foundation Board created two annual fellowships in Marjorie's honor.
Purpose: A faculty fellowship is defined as one semester reassigned time to allow a faculty member the opportunity to pursue a project which directly contributes to excellence and innovation in teaching and learning.
Such projects may include, but are not limited to the following:
Major program or course delivery redesign
Development of student success tools and strategies
Update applied skills (new technology directly related to course content) – subject to approval by VP for Academic Affairs
Deadline: Spring and Fall Semesters, dates to be announced
Amount: Release time from all but one 3-5 hour course and $2000 to purchase supplies and services related to the fellowship
