Presented by: Rex Abert, Brittney Boykins, Eileen Durant, & Hilary Stillwell
This presentation examines alternatives to printed and bound textbooks in an effort to find a way to ease the financial burdens of students as well as help facilitate students’ transition to a more technologically advanced workforce.
Looking at ebooks; open textbooks; free, public-domain resources; and pre-packaged courses that work with Learning Management Systems, we will explore the benefits of using these materials for both faculty and students. Click here for the PowerPoint and here for the recording.
