Who We Are
Tallahassee Community College is the "Employer of Choice." Since 1966 Tallahassee Community College (TCC) has offered instruction of the highest quality to the citizens of Leon, Wakulla, and Gadsden counties (the primary service area), as well as to students from throughout the state, nation, and world. TCC is recognized as an institution with excellent academic support and classroom facilities.
This year, Tallahassee Community College faculty and staff rated the institution as a Great College to Work For according the Chronicle of Higher Education. TCC's diverse employee population includes

- over 500 part-time faculty
- 395 dedicated staff members
- nearly 200 contract and grant employees
Since 1966, Tallahassee Community College has offered high-quality post-secondary education for the citizens of Leon, Gadsden and Wakulla counties, along with students from throughout the state, nation and abroad. TCC's Fall 2012 credit student enrollment totaled more than 14,000, of which nearly 45 percent are minorities and more than 50% attend part-time.
TCC offers students the Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree for transfer to four-year colleges and universities. In addition, TCC offers more than 25 professional areas of study leading to the Associate in Sciences (A.S.) degrees or certificates for work in technical and professional fields, as well as other educational opportunities, including college developmental studies, adult education, and continuing workforce education.
