Tallahassee, Fla. (September 10, 2018) — Tallahassee Community College has named Candice Grause chief of staff to President Jim Murdaugh, effective September 12.
Grause, who previously served as manager of content and digital strategy in the Office of Communications and Marketing, has been with the College since 2010. During her time at TCC, she led numerous College-wide initiatives and served as communications liaison to the president’s office for the past eight years.
“Candice’s dedication to TCC as well as her experience in strategic communications, developing meaningful and productive employee relations, and project management make her an ideal candidate for this role,” said Murdaugh.
As chief of staff, she will be responsible for assisting the president in day-to-day operations at the College and ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Grause succeeds Scott Balog as chief of staff who was named executive director of the Center for Innovation on July 1.
