TCC Communications and Marketing receives Association of Florida Colleges Exemplary Practice Award

The Tallahassee Community College Communications and Marketing Department received an Exemplary Practice Award from the Association of Florida Colleges (AFC) Communications & Marketing Commission. The award was presented during the 2021 Awards of Excellence which took place during the Virtual 72nd Annual AFC Annual Meeting and Conference.

This is the third consecutive year that TCC has earned a prestigious Exemplary Practice Award, having received it in 2020 for the Virtual Commencement project and in 2019 for the TCC2WORK campaign. The 2021 award was for the highly successful 2021 Fall Enrollment campaign, a comprehensive integrated marketing campaign which focused on both new admissions and registrations from current students. The campaign utilized a combination of display advertising, OTT, social media marketing, search engine marketing, broadcast television, branded content, out-of-home placements, rack cards, on-hold messages, direct mail, email and text message marketing, and more.

TCC also received a Gold award for Annual Report: College Foundation for the TCC Foundation 2020-21 Annual Report, a Gold award for Social Media Single Post (Paid) for a Snapchat ad from the 2021 Fall Enrollment Campaign, and a Bronze award for Article/Story Pitched Resulting in Publication for a story entitled, At 90, Tallahassee Community College graduate fulfills goal to earn second degree.
