TCC Hosts Swearing-In Ceremony for New Campus Police Chief

Tallahassee Community College hosted a swearing-in ceremony for our new Campus Police Chief, Wesley Hardin. The ceremony took place on Monday, November 1 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC) on the TCC Main Campus.

Chief Hardin has more than 26 years of experience in law enforcement and supervision across diverse assignments in local, county, and K-12 law enforcement agencies. He spent the last 13 years as the Officer-in-Charge at Gwinnett County Public Schools in Suwanee, Georgia. The school-based police department is the 13th largest in the nation with 96 uniformed police officers protecting more than 180,000 students in 143 schools. Hardin earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Saint Leo University, and a master’s in public administration from Columbia Southern University.
