Tallahassee Community College’s Florida Public Safety Institute (FPSI), will hold Public Safety Day Saturday, February 5, from noon to 4:00 p.m. at the Florida Public Safety Institute. This event showcases careers in public safety. There will be many activities including obstacle course races, alligator wrangling, SWAT demonstration, and a fire truck pull.
The Alumni and Friends Foundation will conduct a drawing that day for four $500 scholarships intended for students interested in entering the public safety program at TCC. Individuals of all ages are invited to attend. Admission is free.
The Florida Public Safety Institute is located off of Veteran’s Memorial Highway (US-90) in Gadsden County, directly across the street from Gadsden County High School.
