She Kills Monsters Opens the 2022-23 Theatre Season

Theatre TCC! opens its 2022-23 season with She Kills Monsters by Qui Nguyen. The action-packed dramatic comedy is directed by Hannah Talbot and produced by Eva Nielsen.

Written by acclaimed playwright and Vietnamese storyteller Qui Nguyen, She Kills Monsters tells the story of Agnes Evans as she deals with the death of her younger sister, Tilly. When Agnes stumbles upon Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook, she finds herself catapulted into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in the imaginary world that was her sister’s refuge. 

Cast members include Kaitlyn Ricketts (Agnes), Zira Brown (Tilly), Shadin Haitham (Chuck), Jake Tottle (Miles), Madison Beehner (Lillith), Kayla-Elizabeth Meyzen (Kaliope), Joseph MacMichael (Orcus), Courtney Abazie (Vera), Maxwell Allen (Steve), Briana Rodriguez (Evil Tina), Allison Wotherspoon (Evil Gabbi), Lindsey Fabian (Farrah the Faerie/Narrator), and Elizabeth Blair, Madeline Forrester, and D’Nai Acre (Monster Ensemble).

Through the ongoing work of the TCC Foundation and generous corporate and private support, Theatre TCC! provides nearly twenty students with annual scholarships that allow them to explore their artistic dreams.  

Performances will take place October 6-9 and October 14-15 at 8 p.m. with a special matinee show on October 16 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $18 for adults, $13 for seniors, and $10 for children and non-TCC students.
