Tallahassee Community College will celebrate its very first electrical apprenticeship graduates on Wednesday, May 24, at 6:30 p.m. The commencement ceremony will be held in the Workforce Development Ballroom.
The apprenticeship program, in partnership with Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC), allows students to earn a great wage while working on exciting projects with a contracting company during the day while enhancing on-the-job learning with instruction through IEC classes in the evening. Recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Apprenticeship & Training, the IEC program is an approved path with nationwide credentials.
