EMT career begins at TCC

For Ja’rel Dawson, enrolling into Tallahassee Community College’s Emergency Medical Services program was another certification that was required in order for him to begin his career at the Tallahassee Fire Department. His parents’ medical issues also led him to wanting to learn more about providing them with better care. TCC Unveils TCC2Work Initiative

Tallahassee Community College (TCC) is officially launching its TCC2WORK initiative. TCC2WORK is designed to bring awareness to the 70-plus workforce- focused programs at the College that are intended to put people into jobs. TCC Alumnus earns Prestigious Scholarship

Tallahassee Community College Alumnus, David “Gil” Damon is the recipient of the Gates Cambridge Scholarship which is a very prestigious international postgraduate scholarship. Damon graduated from TCC in 2015 with an Associate of Arts degree in Psychology. He later went on to receive his bachelor’s degree at Florida State University. Damon is from Wakulla County and attributes his interest in science and government from experiencing hurricanes and witnessing the federal and local response. Read More
