Teams from Tallahassee Community College participated in the Pitch for the Skilled Trades and the inaugural Pitch for the Foundation competitions at the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE) Annual Conference in Boston.

The Tallahassee Community College Fine Art Gallery presents the work of Ten Artists, Ltd. The exhibit will be open through December 8 and features the work of Sherry Allen, Wendy Devarieux, Rosemary Ferguson, Nina Freeman, Rene Lynch, Judy Nable, Pam Talley, and Sherry Whitney. TCC Receives Mine Safety Grant from US Department of Labor

Tallahassee Community College has been awarded $191,510 from the United States Department of Labor Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA). Grant funds were awarded to support federally mandated training and re-training for miners working at surface and underground coal and metal and nonmetal mines. The Tallahassee Community College Foundation has received an $88,000 donation from the Barbara Judd Trust for its Athletics Campaign.
Barbara Byers Judd, originally from New Haven, CT, earned degrees from Boston University and American University. She became a journalist and editor in Washington, DC.
