Tallahassee native, Chelsea Countess said it took some time to actually find her niche in the medical field. She started taking classes in physical therapy but quickly realized it wasn’t for her. U.S. Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Economic Development Dr. John Fleming announced today that Tallahassee Community College (TCC) is receiving a $1.2 million grant to support the Welding Technologies Laboratory (WTL). Later becoming a double amputee, it didn’t stop him from continuing his passion of sports and mentoring, something he’s done for the past 25 years.
