A Ribbon Cutting and First Flag Raising Ceremony will take place on Thursday, December 7 at 12 p.m. at the site of the future Dale Mabry Army Airfield (DMAAF) Museum on the campus of Tallahassee Community College. The event will pay tribute to America’s military forces that found themselves at war after the Pacific fleet was attacked at Pearl Harbor on Sunday, December 7, 1941. Read More

Tallahassee Community College District Board of Trustees Chair Eugene Lamb, Jr. has been awarded the 2023 Southern Region Trustee Leadership award by the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT). Lamb has served on the Board since 2007, when he was appointed by Governor Charlie Crist. He has since been re-appointed to five consecutive terms by Governors Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis, and is currently serving his fourth term as chair. Read More

Tallahassee Community College has announced the addition of three new bachelor's degree programs to prepare students for careers in high-demand fields. The Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, and Bachelor of Science in Exceptional Student Education will launch in August 2023 and are accepting applications now. Ten members of TCC’s Forensics Team brought home three team sweepstakes awards and 11 individual awards from the Phi Rho Pi National Tournament held in Washington, D.C. from April 10 through 15. The Eagles won team Silver Awards in Individual Events, Debate, and Overall Team Sweepstakes. This marks the 23 consecutive year that TCC has brought home a team award from nationals. Read More

Tallahassee Community College (TCC) is pleased to announce the formation of Tallahassee Collegiate Academy (TCA), a tuition-free STEM charter high school that will open in August. The Florida Department of Education approved TCC in January as the first college charter school authorizer. Read More
