Good academic advising is essential to program completion. Please note that online advising is strictly for students who are in the following Degree Programs:

Our advisors serve as a point of contact to assist students in choosing the correct classes to help you thrive academically and to help you achieve your ultimate career goals. 

Advisors work with students personally and through referrals to other online services to ensure students have the necessary resources to be successful in online courses. Some of the services offered are:

• Phone, virtual, or walk-in advising
• Degree guidance
• Personal enrichment 
• Mental health services 
• Career awareness

How to Set up an Appointment

If you are an A.S. online student who would like to speak with your academic advisor, go to Workday and schedule an advising appointment. 

Each appointment will last approximately 30 minutes. To accommodate all students, any missed appointments will need to be rescheduled.

All questions (i.e. graduation checks, transfer major requirements, first time in college, etc.) must be addressed through an appointment with your assigned advisor.
