Steps to TCC
Students who are transferring from another institution such as a Florida private or public community college, a state or private university, or an out-of-state college or university are considered transfer students. Students who are only transferring high school dual enrollment credits should select First Time College Student. If you are a transfer student, follow these steps to become a fully-admitted TCC student.
Due to COVID-19, we recommend submitting your official transcripts electronically to TCC. Mailed copies will have additional processing times due to staff working remotely until further notice. New employees should still mail their transcripts to TCC for HR processing.
1. Apply for Admission
- Apply for admission to TCC using our online application.
- After you submit you will receive a confirmation page with your TCC Identification number, email address, and password. Keep this page for your records as you will need this information to log in to , Workday and MyTCC to access your TCC email.
2. Submit Residency Declaration
Students seeking Florida residency for tuition purposes are required to submit a declaration to the College proving they, or their parent/legal guardian, maintained legal residence in this state for at least 12 consecutive months immediately prior to his or her initial enrollment.
The declaration and all supporting documentation must be submitted online prior to the start of classes.
3. Transfer Your Financial Aid and Apply for Scholarships

4. Send Transcripts to TCC
Request your official high school transcript or GED test scores to be sent to TCC. Admission to the college requires a standard high school diploma or GED. It is important for your records to be sent as soon as possible so that information on your transcript can be used to assist with your first-semester course scheduling.
Also request any and all college/university transcripts. Transfer students are required to submit official college transcripts from all colleges/universities attended.
