Digital Student ID and Plastic Student ID Card

TCC uses a digital ID for use at TCC's library, Lifetime Sports Complex, and other places on and off campus. After completing the steps below, access your digital ID via the MyTCC app. The plastic TCC student ID card is used for students in healthcare (dental, EMS, and nursing students), Honors students, and StarMetro passengers who have paid to use this bus service.

Obtain a Digital ID

  1. Visit https://www.tcc.fl.edu/CloudCard

  2. Upload your photo
  • Photo should be cropped slightly above your head to the middle of your chest
  • Photo should be taken against a plain, light background
  • Photo must be in color
  • You must not be wearing sunglasses or a hat
  • You must be positioned directly facing the camera
  • Your eyes should be open and looking at the camera

3. Upload a photo of a valid government-issued ID (driver's license, state-issued ID card, military ID, or passport)

Obtain a Plastic Student ID

To obtain a plastic TCC student ID you must visit TCC's Campus Police Department located on the second floor of the Center Building. You will need to be fully admitted to TCC and bring a valid government-issued ID (driver's license, state-issued ID card, military ID, or passport).

Note to New students: Your first ID is paid for as part of your tuition and fees. You will be eligible for a plastic ID the week prior to classes starting if you have either paid your tuition and fees or have financial aid that covers the cost of your tuition and fees.

Obtain a Replacement ID

The cost to replace a plastic TCC student ID (dental, EMS, nursing, honors students, and StarMetro passengers) is $10. You must visit TCC's Campus Police Department located on the second floor of the Center Building to replace your plastic TCC student ID. Bring a valid government-issued ID (driver's license, state-issued ID card, military ID, or passport).

Discounted Bus Pass on StarMetro

Tallahassee Community College and the City of Tallahassee have partnered to offer TCC students, faculty and staff discounted passes for unlimited use of StarMetro bus services during the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.

Discounted StarMetro passes can be purchased for $99 per semester. If funding is sufficient, this fee can be charged against student financial aid by providing authorization on the StarMetro Charge Authorization electronic form in Workday > TCC College Forms > Submit a New Form > Cashier's Office > StarMetro Charge Authorization. Please see below for application deadlines. This pass allows for unlimited use of bus service for customers using their valid TCC ID. There are no refunds available on this bus pass once the form is submitted. Please allow two business days for payment processing before using StarMetro services.
