Self-Paced Instruction Course Exams
Self-paced instruction (SPI) courses are independent study courses that allow a student to work at their own pace and complete the course within twenty weeks. A SPI contract is required when registering for these courses and taking exams. Please contact the TCC Virtual Advisor for SPI contract details.
Students enrolled in SPI courses come to the Testing Center to take their exams. Please bring a copy of your SPI contract with you to check-in on exam day. All exams are administered on a walk-in basis. No appointment is necessary! Students must arrive at least one hour prior to closing to allow sufficient time to complete an exam. Please see the Testing Center Hours of Operation
for available exam times.
WEB-Based Instruction Course Exams
WEB courses are taken online, however course exams may be administered at the TCC Testing Center located on the main campus. Please check with faculty or your advisor prior to registering to determine if your exam(s) must be taken at a proctored site. There is an additional cost for taking exams at a proctored site.
All tests are administered on a walk-in basis. No appointment is necessary. Students must arrive at least one hour prior to closing to allow sufficient time to complete an exam.
Students who do not reside in Tallahassee may be approved to take their exams off-campus. Please refer to Distance Learning's Proctored Testing
