TCC Jazz Band

The Tallahassee Community College Jazz Band (“TCC Jazz Band”) performs two concerts per year in Turner Auditorium, in addition to performing at a variety of venues and festivals throughout the greater Tallahassee area. Music played by this group includes big band, Latin jazz, swing, blues, funk, pop, and rock.

Membership:

TCC Jazz Band is open to community members aged eighteen and older and to TCC and other postsecondary students as an activity and outlet to learn and perform a wide variety of stage band music. Due to instrumentation limitations, an audition may be required for this group. For more information contact TCC Director of Bands Lisa Foltz.

Band members must have the ability to read music, and a desire to have fun with music. In most cases, band members must provide their own instruments.
