Veterans Resources

Veterans Affairs - TCC's Office of Veterans Affairs provides specialized services to help students navigate state and federal education benefit programs. The VA office also helps our students make the most out of the College’s many resources.

Troops to Teachers Program - Troops to Teachers is designed to help transitioning service members and veterans begin new careers as K-12 school teachers. This program help address the need for increased diversity in our Florida teachers, especially in our male teacher population. Service members can receive counseling and get referral services to help them meet the educational and licensing requirements necessary to secure a teaching position. They may even qualify for up to $10,000 in financial assistance. Since 1993, more than 20,000 veterans have successfully participated in the program and transitioned to a career in education.
