Accolade: Murdaugh elected to Council of Presidents post

(June 25, 2018)—Tallahassee Community College President Jim Murdaugh has been elected vice chair of the Florida College System Council of Presidents for 2018–19. The Council of Presidents is made up of the presidents of each of the 28 institutions in the Florida College System.

As vice chair, Murdaugh will lead advocacy efforts for the entire system, working collaboratively with the Association of Florida Colleges and Florida College System Chancellor Madeline Pumariega. Murdaugh will then become chair of the Council of Presidents for 2019–20. He has been president of TCC since 2010.
