Dual Enrollment Program Information


Spring 2018 Registration Information 

  • Spring 2018 Dual Enrollment Registration is now over. Please review presentation located below in preparation for Summer and/or Fall 2018 Registration. 
  • Students who will take dual enrolled courses taught only at their high school campus will have a schedule by December 15, 2017.
  • All dual enrollment forms have been updated for home school, public, and private schooled students - please use updated forms - forms are available below under the tab labeled "Obtain Permission to Register" below. 


Earn college credit at no charge! Our Dual Enrollment Program offers the opportunity to earn college credit while still attending high school.

Admission Criteria

For new students:

  • You have a 3.0 unweighted high school GPA.
  • You have appropriate test scores on SAT, ACT, or PERT. Test scores need to be less than two years old.
  • Please consult with your Guidance Counselor or Home Education Official

For continuing students:

  • You maintain a 3.0 unweighted high school GPA
  • You maintain a TCC GPA of 2.0
  • 75% college course completion rate

Early Admissions

​For new students:

  • You are in 12th grade
  • You have a 3.5 unweighted high school GPA
  • You have appropriate test scores on SAT, ACT, or PERT. Test scores need to be less than two years old
  • Please see your respective Guidance Counselor or Home Education Official

For continuing students:

  • You are in 12th grade
  • You maintain a 3.5 unweighted high school GPA (not applicable to Home Education)
  • You maintain a TCC GPA of 3.0
  • You maintain a 75% college course completion rate

How to Register for Classes

​Meet with your guidance counselor early. They can help you with registration and documents, testing, and finding appropriate classes for your goals. Also make sure the forms are signed by all parties, and submit official transcripts.

How to Change Your Class Schedule

​If you are already registered for classes, but wish to change your schedule, please submit your signed Dual Enrollment Course Adjustment Form 2017.

This form can only be used for changes to your classes BEFORE the add/drop period ends. 

How to Withdraw From a Class

If you determine that you need to withdraw from a class (this will be reflected as a "W" on the academic transcript), you are required to discuss the situation with your guidance counselor. The Dual Enrollment Permission to Withdraw Form 2017 must be completed and signed by school or county officials before submitting the form to the TCC Dual Enrollment Advisor.

All withdrawals must be completed by the deadline. Review the academic calendar for specific dates.

How to Continue at TCC as a Degree-Seeking Student

If you plan to continue attending TCC as a degree-seeking student after your Dual Enrollment program, your status at TCC has to be changed.

  • Submit the Change of Program form to the Admissions office.
  • Submit the Florida Residency Declaration to the Admissions office.
  • Self-register to attend the New Student Orientation for degree-seeking students.
  • Submit your final high school transcript with graduation date to the Admissions office.
  • If home-educated, submit the Affidavit of Home School Completion​​ to your TCC Dual Enrollment advisor.
  • Submit any additional test scores (if applicable) to the Admissions office.
