High School: Christopher Columbus High School (2023)

At TCC, AJ is a part of the Aspire program and intends to major in Finance at FSU. While he was in high school, he played football, baseball, and ran track and field. In his spare time, he loves hanging out with his friends, playing guitar, and listening to music. My favorite thing at TCC is how easy it has been to meet new people and make friends.

Selena Byrd

Hometown: Tallahassee

High School: Leon High School (2022)

Selena is a member of the Aspire program and intends on majoring in Business Management at FSU once she graduates from TCC. Her favorite things about TCC are the classes she’s taken and the professors she’s met here. Her hobbies include writing, reading, painting, and running.

Decarlise Chapman

Hometown: Greensboro, FL

High School: Tallavana Christian School (2022)

Decarlise is a member of the Aspire program and intends to major in Information Technology and Communication at Florida State. He is the lead producer for all athletic live streams at TCC and is a member of Black Male Achievers. Outside of school, he likes to play basketball, watch sports, play video games, and spend time with his family. 

Braden Feazell-Singletary

Hometown: Clearwater, FL

High School: Amos P. Godby High School (2023)

Upon graduating from TCC, Braden intends to attend Auburn University to major in Aeronautical Science. Outside of school he enjoys listening to music, writing and playing basketball. HIs favorite thing about TCC is the community atmosphere.

Taylor Grace Hayes

Hometown: Wauchula, FL

High School: Hardee County Senior High (2023)

Taylor is a member of the Aspire Program and intends to transfer to FSU to major in Media and Communications Studies. She loves saltwater fishing, golfing, and shopping. The long-time pageant competitor currently holds the title of 2023 Teen Miss Firecracker. Her favorite thing about TCC is the caring and welcoming staff and fellow students that have made her move from home so much easier.

Christian Johnson 

Hometown: Amarillo, TX

High School: Florida State University School (2023)

Christian is a member of the Aspire program and intends to major in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences at FSU. In his free time, he likes fishing and hanging out with his friends. In high school, he played under Coach Charlie Ward and was a member of the FHSAA 3A Boys Basketball State Championship team in 2022.

Natalie Nesmith

Hometown: Tallahassee

High School: Chiles High School (2023) 

Natlie is a member of the Aspire program and intends on majoring in Business at Florida State. After graduating high school, Natalie took the summer to get her real estate license. She has played soccer her entire life and loves traveling. She also enjoys playing pickleball and planning events. 

Taylor Pierini

Hometown: Crawfordville, FL

High School: Wakulla Christian School (2023)

Taylor is a member of the Aspire Program at TCC and plans to transfer to FSU to major in Graphic Design. She played softball and soccer growing up. She also is a big animal lover. Her favorite thing about TCC so far has been the many friendly people she’s met around campus.

Adena Porter

Hometown: Tallahassee

High School: Lincoln High School (2023)

Adena plans to transfer to Georgia Southern to major in Radiologic Technology after graduating from TCC. She is a member of the Black Student Union. Adena’s favorite thing so far about TCC is how inviting everyone is. Her favorite things to do outside of school include cooking, baking, and attending festivals and cultural events. 

Jackson Shivers

Hometown: Tallahassee

High School: Chiles High School (2023)

Jackson is a member of the Aspire Program and intends to major in Business Management at FSU. In his spare time, Jackson runs his own business: Capital Power Wash. He also loves fishing and duck hunting.
