Congrats Spring 2023 Graduates

The Tallahassee Community College Spring 2023 Commencement ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 7 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.

GUESTS

You may invite as many family and friends as you would like. Tickets are not required. The Civic Center charges $10 per vehicle to park. The Civic Center has a clear bag policy, meaning no purses or tote bags unless they are clear. Airhorns or cowbells are not allowed.

WHAT TO WEAR

Graduates must purchase a cap and gown at the TCC Bookstore and wear it to the commencement ceremony. Graduates should dress in light clothes that will be comfortable under their gowns. This is a formal ceremony, so no tennis shoes or flip-flops. A tie is optional. If you decorate your mortarboard, please use good taste and discretion.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Graduates must arrive at the Civic Center at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2023.

• Go down the escalators to the bottom floor where you will print your name card and line up alphabetically. Volunteers will be there to help.
• Leave your personal items with your family.
• You may bring your phone with you, but it must be on silent and no earbuds or headphones of any kind are allowed.

The processional will be as follows: graduates with disabilities followed by BSN graduates, then Associates Degrees. Follow the leadership of the marshals.

You are expected to stay until the end of the ceremony through the recessional.
