The Tallahassee Community College Fine Art Gallery presents the work of Ten Artists, Ltd. The exhibit will be open through December 8 and features the work of Sherry Allen, Wendy Devarieux, Rosemary Ferguson, Nina Freeman, Rene Lynch, Judy Nable, Pam Talley, and Sherry Whitney. The artists use a variety of materials, techniques, and styles. An opening reception is planned for Thursday evening, October 20 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
The Ten Artists, Ltd. is a group of ten female artists who work together to create vibrant, meaningful art. Their strengths come from the combined synergy of the group as they meet, discuss, learn, and show their artwork together. The Ten Artists, Ltd. formed in 1985 and originally consisted of ten local Tallahassee artists. Over time, the members have changed but the concept has remained the same.
The TCC Fine Art Gallery is located in the Fine and Performing Arts Center on TCC’s main campus. Admission to the gallery is free and open to the public on weekdays from 12:30 to 4:40 p.m. Parking on the campus of TCC is also free.
