The Tallahassee Community College Fine Art Gallery proudly presents “Florida Landscapes” from John Gleason. The gallery will host an opening reception on Thursday, January 11, from 5 until 7:30 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public. The show will run through February 15.
“Florida Landscapes” features oil and acrylic paintings that boast landscapes from the Red Hills region to Florida’s forgotten coast. This exhibition depicts life in our local slice of the south — a timeless yet ever-evolving region. During the opening reception, Gleason will use his love of cooking to create Florida-inspired flavors to accompany the art pieces featured in the exhibit.
The gallery, located in the Fine and Performing Arts Center on the main campus of TCC, is open from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays. Admission to the gallery is free and open to the public. Parking on the campus of TCC is also free.
