Eagles still awaiting opening round opponent at national tourney
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (May 8, 2008) - The Tallahassee Community College Eagles, fresh off a surprise run to the NJCAA District H (FCCAA Gulf District) Championship, have returned to the practice field in preparation for the NJCAA Division I Fast Pitch Championships, which begin May 15 in Plant City, Fla.
TCC Softball wins NJCAA Gulf District Championship
AUBURNDALE, Fla. (May 4, 2008) - Call ‘em Drama Queens. Call ‘em the Comeback Kids. Call ‘em the Cardiac Eagles. All of the above apply to the 2008 Tallahassee Community College softball team. Now, following a postseason run for the ages, you can also call the 2008 Eagles NJCAA Gulf District Champions.
Eagles fall to Santa Fe in FCCAA Championship tilt
AUBURNDALE, Fla. (May 4, 2008) – Having already won the NJCAA Gulf District Championship and a berth in the NJCAA Division I Fast Pitch Championships, the Tallahassee Community College softball team had nothing to lose when it faced top-ranked Santa Fe Community College for the overall Florida Community College Activities Association (FCCAA) Championship.
Eagles down Hillsborough; advance to district championship
AUBURNDALE, Fla. (May 3, 2008) – Tallahassee Community College eliminated Hillsborough Community College 6-5 in nine innings to advance to the championship of the FCCAA/NJCAA Gulf District Tournament Saturday evening at the Auburndale Softball Complex.
Eagles knock off defending national champs Chipola
AUBURNDALE, Fla. (May 3, 2008) – Tallahassee Community College eliminated defending national champion and Panhandle Conference rival Chipola College 3-2 in 10 innings to advance in the FCCAA/NJCAA Gulf District Tournament at the Auburndale Softball Complex.

TCC Baseball Tryouts
TCC will hold open tryouts for its baseball team on June 7 at 10 a.m. Check-in is at 9 a.m. Attendees must have proof of health insurance, an athletic physical dated within the last year and a signed assumption of risk (pdf 124.69 kB) . Tryouts will consist of a 60-yard run, batting practice, bullpen session and a possible scrimmage.
