Heroes In Public Safety

This program recognizes those heroes who have attended TCC, have trained at the Florida Public Safety Institute (Pat Thomas or Lively), the Ghazvini Center for Healthcare Education, or those working in the public safety field in our community and honors them in one of three award categories:

Lifetime Achievement Award 

Chris Connell Merit Award

  •  Chris Connell Merit Award Winners demonstrate exemplary accomplishments and acts of bravery in the line of duty. 
  • This award showcases: 
    • Unsung Heroes: Those who have demonstrated exemplary accomplishments in the past year. 
    • Incident Awards: Those who have demonstrated an act of outstanding bravery in the line of duty.
    • Young Professionals: Those who have demonstrated a level of commitment, service, and professionalism are often unseen in someone so new to the field.
