Summer Scholars Program

The Summer Scholars Program is a pathway for graduated seniors who are planning to attend TCC as freshman in the Fall to begin their college career NOW!

The deadline to apply for the Summer Scholars Program is Wednesday, June 3rd.

Who is eligible for the Summer Scholars Program?

  • 2020 high school graduate from Leon, Gadsden or Wakulla county
  • 3.0 high school GPA or College Level ACT/SAT scores
  • Must complete 2019-2020 FAFSA form

What are the benefits of the Summer Scholars Program?

  • Up to 6 credit hours FREE via TCC Live during June Express
  • Textbook stipend

How do I apply for the Summer Scholars Program?

Submit the Summer Scholars Program Application and your unofficial high school transcript reflecting 3.0 GPA, or college level ACT/SAT scores to Christen Givens at bennettc@tcc.fl.edu. The deadline to submit the Summer Scholars Program Application and all supporting documents is Wednesday, June 3rd.

Summer JumpStart Program

The Dual Enrollment Summer JumpStart Program is for NEW dual enrollment students in Leon, Gadsden or Wakulla county who want to begin their college career NOW!

The deadline for the Summer JumpStart Program is Tuesday, June 9th.

*Check with your respective high school for additional deadlines.

Who is eligible for the Summer JumpStart Program?

  • New dual enrollment students from Leon, Gadsden or Wakulla county
  • Student must be a rising junior or senior
  • 3.0 unweighted GPA required
  • Must enroll inthe June Express session

What are the benefits of the Summer JumpStart Program?

  • Students will complete the Super Strong Inventory to develop a career pathway based on the student's strengths, interests and values.
  • Students may choose to take any of the following courses via TCC Live during June Express: ENC1101, AMH2020, SLS1510, POS1041, MAT1033 and GEB1011.

How do I apply for the Summer JumpStart Program?

Please contact your high school guidance counselor for instructions on how to apply. The deadline to submit the application and all supporting documentation for the Summer JumpStart Program is Tuesday, June 9th.

 Registration Opens for All Students Wednesday, May 13, 2020

**Check with your respective high school for additional deadlines each semester.

ALL dual enrolled students must obtain written permission from High School Guidance Counselor or Home Education Official in order to add, drop, or withdraw. A signed Course Adjustment Form or Course Withdrawal Form must be submitted by the appropriate deadline.
