Simulation Center


  TCC's Simulation Center mission statement is to enhance learning and improve patient safety through the use of simulation in healthcare education.



      • ​​​​​​Improve patient safety and patient outcomes in a supportive environment​​​​
      • Promotes critical thinking without potential for patient harm
      • Enhance technical skills without risk to patients
      • Provides a means of patient-centered interdisciplinary training 
      • ​Orient to new equipment/procedures 


      • ​​​​​Provide appropriate care for a patient with rarely seen conditions
      • ​​Enhance the ability to prioritize care for a patient with a specific condition
      • Implement a plan of care based on the pathophysiology identified in the physical assessment 
      • ​​Evaluate patient response to care provided
