ESPN personality Bomani Jones visits TCC

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (March 20, 2014) – Tallahassee Community College will welcome ESPN personality Bomani Jones to campus for a lecture entitled “Welcome to 2014: Sports, Entertainment, Social Media and How They Come Together.”

Jones is a co-host of the daily sports talk show “Highly Questionable” on ESPN2. He is also a regular panelist on ESPN’s “Around The Horn,” as well as several other ESPN radio and television programs.

TCC’s Office of Campus and Civic Engagement coordinated the lecture, which will be held Wednesday, March 26, at 1 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom.

“Having Bomani Jones visit TCC is an honor, and we feel he will have a great message to share with our community. He has covered sports, music, culture and politics for years, but has used social media to increase his reach. This is a great opportunity to learn more about engaging students in the digital space,” said Michael Coleman, director of Campus and Civic Engagement.
