TCC to host part-time job fair on April 16

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (March 26, 2014) – Tallahassee Community College is hosting a part-time job fair to help students connect with potential employers.

On Wednesday, April 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Student Union Ballroom will be full of representatives from local businesses looking to recruit students for part-time and seasonal positions.

“This is a win-win event,” said Catie Goodman, director of TCC’s Career Center. “Students can learn about and apply to job opportunities, and employers get a chance to meet our ambitious, hard-working students.”

In addition to offering direct interaction with those providing work opportunities, the job fair is intended to help students stand out among the crowd of student applicants looking for part-time work to fit around their class schedules.

Job seekers are required to dress professionally in order to make good first impressions with prospective employers. It is also recommended that job seekers bring copies of their résumé to present.

Employers can reserve a table for just $45 at Space is limited.
