Criminal Justice and Public Safety Programs

TCC's Criminal Justice and Public Safety programs are interdisciplinary in nature, drawing upon many different fields of study including law, sociology, psychology and political science. These programs focus on the theoretical and the practical aspects of criminal justice. All faculty members have extensive real world experience in the subject matter they teach and a minimum of a master's degree in that field.
The Criminal Justice Technology Program offers a variety of curriculum options to prepare students for work or advancement in the criminal justice field, or for transfer to a college or university baccalaureate criminology or criminal justice program. The College also has articulation agreements in place with Florida State University, Panama City Campus, Florida Gulf Coast University, Saint Leo University, and Barry University, providing students with the option to complete coursework online.

TCC also works closely with the Florida Public Safety Institute's Pat Thomas Law Enforcement Academy to ensure academy graduates will complete an associate's degree in the program.
