Students can get assistance developing technical skills and software techniques. State-of-the art computers are located in and Learning Commons, 1st and 2nd floors and AC 210.

Computers are available to students currently enrolled at TCC or any of the College's University Partners: Barry University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Flagler College, Saint Leo University, and Thomas University.

 Hours of Operation

  • The Learning Commons computer area and AC 210 are open during the Hours of Operation.
  • Please check for exceptions to regular hours and holiday/campus closures.

 Software and Hardware


The following documents provide information on the software and hardware found in TCC’s Learning Commons and in AC 210.


 Media Lab and Media Recording Lab



       Media Lab (LC 152B)

  • The Student Media Lab is located in Room 152B of the Learning Commons.
  • Students can create multimedia products.
  • One-on-one assistance is available.


       Media Recording Lab (LC 170)  ​

  • The Media Recording Lab is located in Room 170 of the Learning Commons. 
  • Students can create video and audio recording project.
  • Logitech Web Camera, headphone with a microphone, HP Scanject 7400c scanner, and a Panasonic VW-BN1 DVD burner. 
  • Canon VIXIA HF HD Video recorder and a Sony Cyber-Shot Digital Camera. 
  • One-on-one assistance is available.
  • Also available by request: 1 - 16 GB SDHC memory card

The Learning Commons and AC 210 Staff strive to make the computer area resources and time spent in them productive. To ensure this, students are asked to read, and adhere to, the computer area guidelines.
