Environmental Science Technology and Water Quality
TCC’s new environmental science programs prepare students for careers that make a difference in the community. Environmental science careers are important, challenging and rewarding, with opportunities to work in a variety of settings from laboratories to the field. TCC’s programs qualify graduates to work in the technical areas of water quality, natural resource management and environmental monitoring with the local, state and national levels of government and private enterprises such as environmental consulting firms.
The Division of Science and Mathematics will offer these new core courses beginning in the following terms.
EVR1858* Environmental Regulation and Compliance (3 credits)
EVR2892C Environmental Sampling and Analysis I (3 credits)
EVR1328* Natural Resource Conservation and Management (3 credits)

Courses without asterisks are hybrid courses that have online lectures and some field or laboratory experiences.
